Nine does not collect any personal information about you unless you provide that information voluntarily by sending an e-mail, or completing online registration/application form, wherever applicable. These may include contact information (such as name and e-mail address), unique identifiers (unique name and password) and demographic information (such as pin/zip code or age), though are not limited to these items of information.
Any information that is not specified as publicly visible to the registered users of Nine will be private. Only the admins of Nine will have access to this information.
Your personal information specified as private will not be disclosed to any person or organization outside this forum excepting with {Sathya Sai} without your explicit permission, excepting in a form which is not personally identifiable. However, we may collect or disclose personal information without consent if the collection or disclosure is:
- necessary to perform the statutory duties
- made pursuant to a court order or by law
- for the purpose of validating the identity of the user
- of information to be used solely for statistical purposes that is in a form that cannot be used to identify any particular person.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Members can receive notifications every time there is an update in the groups in which they are members and/or a friend of his posts any material on the site. Member can chose to opt out of these notifications by choosing appropriate settings.

Public Forums
Nine enables group chats and comments on blogs, updates, photographs and think boards available to you. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information, and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. Further, such information shall become the property of Nine, and may not be deleted from its database even though you have deleted the same from the site. Further, Nine has right to store all such information eternally even beyond the length of your membership.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. Nine uses a VPS server located in US and also third party service provided by Applozic ( for implementation of chat ) which uses AWS for storing and retrieving data.)
Complaint follow-up
Nine provides a facility to members to notify the moderators in case they find any content posted by another user or the conduct of a user, as objectionable. To address such concerns, the administrators may have to collect information pertaining to such specific complaints and in case of repeated complaints, maintain a record of such transgressions for further action as per administration policy. Such information will be collected and used only to address such specific complaints and the information collected will not be shared with the user who complained.
In other cases, where a moderator finds the content objectionable (even without any other member objecting), such information may be collected to maintain records of such instances.
